Mandarins in syrup.

Mandarinas en almibar


15 tangerines tiny.
2 cups of sugar.
4 glasses of water.
1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
The shells of two or three tangerines.

How to make mandarin oranges in syrup step by step: 

  1. Peel the tangerines and put them whole into the fire in a pan with water, sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Wash well reserved mandarins shells, cut into thin strips and add them to the preparation.
  3. Cook simmerstirring occasionally until consumed more than half the water and turns into syrup. The syrup must have a shiny appearance and adopt the color and flavor of tangerines.
  4. Remove the preparation of fire, allow to cool and place in jars of glass (Crystal). Keep in the fridge.
